Rare. Very small production 800 numbered bottles.
Artisanal wine elaborated in the purest tradition according to the most natural methods.
Blend of Trousseau, Poulsard, Chardonnay and Savagnin.
Tasting note: Rich, complex and crisp sweet wine with an has an exceptional aromatic palette: stone fruits, dried fruit, candied fruit, tender spices, exotic scents, blond tobacco, fig, date, salt caramel, dried apricot , beeswax, meat juice, encaustic, cocoa, chestnut, truffles.
Gastronomy: Foie gras, blue cheese, or low-sugar cakes with dried fruits, or even better, simply by itself, alone as a digestive, or accompanied by spicy chocolates, or a light cigar.
Serving temperature: 18 – 22°C [ room temperature ]
Storage: Many years
Production: Only about 800 numbered bottles. Each bottle is labelled and waxed by hand, according to an exclusive facing to Château d'Arlay wines.
Winemaking: Severe grape selection picked without any rot and dried flat in an attic for 4 month before being pressed and fermented for 3 to 4 years in small oak casks.
