★ Gantenbein Daniel & Martha [Grisons/Graubünden] – Most renown and sought-after Swiss producer. Makers of world-class Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Riesling. Limited production and allocations. Very high demand, very hard to get even in Switzerland. On waiting list. GAULT&MILLAU SWISS ICON
★ Marie-Thérèse Chappaz (MTC) [Valais] – 2nd most renowned Swiss producer. Pioneer of biodynamic production. Crafter of pure wines. MTC’s reputation expands beyond Swiss borders for many years already. She was awarded by the Grand Jury Européen and she’s the first and only Swiss producer to ever be rated RP 100 points by The Wine Advocate.
MTC’s sweets rank at the highest followed by her whites. Her reds render lovingly many Pinot Noir lovers falling for her very pure renditions of the varietal such as GRAIN PINOT charrat. Her Syrah is also one of the best renditions from the Upper Rhône. GAULT&MILLAU SWISS ICON BIODYNAMIC MDVS
★ Weingut Donatsch [Grisons/Graubünden] – Seconding the Gantenbein’s with growing international fame and recognition from Grisons/Graubünden. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay master. ★ Domaine La Colombe | Laura Paccot [Vaud] – Laura’s father Raymond pioneered biodynamic production and the crafting a fine and delicate gastronomy wines under his friendship with Frédy Girardet, Top 1 Swiss Chef of all times, from whom he learned to work the local terroir with passion and respect. To this day Raymond and Laura are the favorite local producer of Le Restaurant de l’Hôtel de Ville de Crissier. ★ Histoire d’Enfer [Valais] – Top boutique winery producing only wines with oak maturation – a rare dynamic among Swiss wine producers. Produces the best Burgundy style Pinots and Chardonnays of Valais, and some top Petite Arvine, Syrah, Cornalin, and more. BIODYNAMIC
La Maison Massy [Vaud | Lavaux] – Producer of the iconic Dézaley Chemin de Fer Grand Cru, the most renown Chasselas. Dézaley, steep terraced vineyards diving to Lake Geneva located in the stunning Lavaux, is the top AOC for Chasselas wines.
★ Anne-Claire Schott [Three Lakes Area | Bielersee] – Very inspired young lady producer famous for her « Aroma der Landschaft » (Scents of the Land) collection representing one of the finest and most sophisticated series of natural wines from Europe. A personal fav.
★ Tom Litwan [Aargau] – Producer of top-of-the-line single-vineyard Pinots and Chardonnays. Produces also one of the country’s best grower champagne-style sparkling. Biodynamic. A personal fav. BIODYNAMIC
Schlossgut Bachtobel [Thurgau] – Reference producer from Thurgau. Renown for top-of-the-line Pinots, Chardonnay, sparkling, and one of the country’s best Müller-Thurgau. MDVS
★ Thomas Studach [Grisons/Graubünden] – Small producer producing only a top Chardonnay, Completer (white indigenous), and Pinot. 15’000 bottles total. Very high demand locally does not take new customers since 5-6 years already. Personal fav from the region.
Weingut Fromm [Grisons/Graubünden] – Reference producer from the region also renowned for his top-of-the-line Pinots. Also produces a great Merlot and series of whites. Founded Fromm Winery in NZ. MDVS
Gialdi & Brivio Vini [Ticino] – Reference high quality producer from Ticino. Brivio brought attention to the region for making World-class Merlot back in the 1990’s. Maker of some iconic drops such as Bianco Rovere, Merlot pressed white matured in oak barrels, and reds Riflessi d’Epoca, Platinum, and Sassi Grossi. MDVS
★ Caroline Frey [Valais] – Director and lead oenologist of the family estates Château La Lagune in Bordeaux, Domaine Paul Jaboulet Aîné in the Rhône Valley, and Château Corton C in Burgundy, Caroline Frey acquired in 2015 0.12 ha of vineyards planted with Chasselas and Johannisberg (Silvaner) located on steep alpine south-east facing slopes in Fully, Valais. The parcels are worked biodynamically by hand by Caroline herself where she's replanting Petite Arvine. BIODYNAMIC

★ Valentina Andrei [Valais] – One of the other hottest local young producers highly popular with wine lovers and somms at the moment, Valentina was MTC’s protégé before starting her own venture. Renders crystalline and pure terroir driven wines. BIODYNAMIC
★ Domaine des Landions [Three Lakes Area | Neuchâtel] – Morgan Meier is also one of the hottest young local producers. He was awarded Gault&Millau Rookies in 2023. Produces only 3 Haute-Couture Burgundy style Pinots. 2015 was the first vintage released to market. Since the 2018 Morgan’s wines are on waiting list at the domaine.
